Social Skills

Developing your social skills is all about how you engage and communicate with the people around you. This might be in a professional sense, at school or in the workplace, or personally with your family and friends. You might need to use special words depending on the workplace you are in, you might need to give directions to other people in order to get the job done or you might have to ask for help if you are having trouble understanding. Working on your social skills takes practice, confidence and the initiative to try something outside your comfort zone.

Check out the Wongutha CAPS Language website for great information and resources to help you learn about communicating at work: www.wongutha-caps-language-website.org.au
